Since early 2006, Coodardie Brahmans have worked closely with Taminmin High School and other interested juniors to present cattle at the Fred’s Pass, Katherine and Darwin Shows.

This Australia Day saw Clair O’Brien honoured with the 2008 Mataranka Community Citizen of the Year Award for her efforts. Her tireless work for the community through the local Roper River Landcare Group, The Mataranka Council and the Better Half Club was recognised and applauded.
