Mike and Clair’s study trip to Kachana in the east Kimberley, in Sept 2005 was an inspirational insight to the potential of HM and was a great pre-learning and introduction to the subsequent courses and now their planned grazing operations both at Coodardie and Numul Numul stations. The idea for a KanDo plot was initiated by the group in a desire to encouragecourse participants from across borders to showcase what they have done/can do by using holistic management principles. Soil health/fertility has a profound effect on the whole balance and diversity of our micro and macro environments, hence the general wellness of all that reside there. The plots would be managed specifically with a focus on rehabilitating soil biology whilst testing low-tech solutions that could be then applied to broader areas. KanDo Coodardie LINKS to other KanDo groups still to come
